Founded in 1969, Cutler and Gross has long been synonymous with independent boutique eyewear and unapologetic individuality. The name Knightsbridge Green is drawn directly from the brand's heritage: its flagship boutique opened at 16 Knightsbridge Green, London in 1971, and still stands there today. This collection is a tribute to that address — where British attitude met the art of eyewear — translated now through the precision of Japanese titanium craftsmanship.
Handcrafted in Sabae, Japan
Every frame in the Knightsbridge Green collection is made entirely by hand in Sabae — Japan's legendary eyewear capital. Sabae is to eyewear what Switzerland is to watches: a place where craft is philosophy, and precision is a way of life.
Each frame undergoes a 300-step production process requiring eight months of devoted work. The result is a pair of glasses that bears the marks of genuine individual attention — from the polished edges and hand-rolled rim wire, to the intricate soldering of the iconic Oyster pin detail.
