Meta just launched its newest AI glasses lineup: the META Adventurer, META Fury, and the special edition META Starfire in collaboration with Kylie Jenner. We've been getting questions about one thing in particular: can I wear these with my prescription?
The short answer is yes. And we can help with that.
Whilst we don't sell the frames itself, after purchasing directly from META we can most definitely help you fit your prescription lenses into them.
What's new from Meta
The new META glasses are the next step in META smart AI eyewear. They come with Muse Spark AI built in, Meta's newest AI assistant, with real-time translation across 20 languages, improved voice recognition, and hands-free navigation. There's an integrated camera, open-ear speakers, and up to 8 hours of battery with an additional 32 hours from the charging case.
The Kylie edition brings an oval silhouette; the Adventurer is a classic rectangle; the Fury is a bolder square shape. They're available to purchase online in Australia now.
The prescription question
META's glasses are prescription-compatible — the frames are designed to accept Rx lenses, and fitting prescription lenses does not void the product warranty.
Meta Glasses support a prescription range:
Sphere (SPH): -6.00 to +2.25
Cylinder (CYL): Up to 6.00
Lens types: Single vision and progressive (multifocal)
