Two Icons, One Collection
Cutler and Gross was founded in London in 1969 by opticians Graham Cutler and Tony Gross. Over five decades, the brand has built a reputation for frames that are handcrafted to an exceptional standard — each acetate frame requiring over 260 hours of production — and worn by some of the most discerning eyes in the world.
Breitling needs little introduction. Founded in Switzerland in 1884, the watchmaker pioneered the modern chronograph and has long been associated with precision, performance, and a distinctly modern-retro aesthetic. Their Superocean Heritage collection — a tribute to the original 1957 diving watch — is the design foundation for this collaboration.
These two iconic brands have come together to create a capsule collection that as Cutler and Gross CEO Jack Dooley puts:

The Design Language
Every detail of the Breitling x Cutler and Gross collection traces back to the Superocean Heritage timepiece.
The luminous temple tips are modelled after the watch’s arrowhead hour markers. The Milanese-engraved metalwork echoes the mesh bracelet of the original strap. Custom nose pads and hinges are engraved with Breitling’s signature ‘B’ logo. Even the colour palette: black, classic navy blue, havana, and grey all mirror the dial variations of the Superocean Heritage.
The Five Styles
0001 Leman
A vintage silhouette with clean proportions and quiet confidence. The Leman is the most understated of the five
0002 Chrono
Circular lenses with a bold, instrument-inspired frame. The Chrono references the dial of a chronograph directly, and carries that same technical energy.
0003 Biarritz
Inspired by frames worn in the late 1950s — the era of the original Superocean Heritage. Crafted from bio-cellulose acetate with engraved metalwork detailing throughout.
0004 Cloudbreak
A confident rectangular design, bevelled on every surface. The Cloudbreak is the most architectural of the collection, a sculptural detail worked and reworked by hand.
0005 Marisol
An oversized, 60s-inspired shape with a bold presence. The Marisol is the statement piece of the collection and the one that draws the most attention in-store.
All five styles are available in both eco-conscious bio-cellulose acetate and lightweight titanium. The titanium editions are handmade in Japan and take six months to produce — a detail that is immediately apparent when you hold them.
